Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the Paraklet app, run by Tife's coaching brand ("Paraklet", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: tennyboluwatife@gmail.com.

Not medical advice

Paraklet offers general wellness, nutrition, fitness and sleep guidance. It is not medical advice and doesn't replace a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional. Calorie and macro figures, meal photo feedback, cycle predictions and AI-written guidance are estimates and can be wrong. Check with a professional before starting a new diet or exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, postpartum, have a medical condition or take medication. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over to use Paraklet.
• Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information so your suggestions make sense for you.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• harass coaches or other members, or share anything unlawful or abusive;
• try to access another person's account or data, or interfere with the app's security;
• upload content you don't have the right to share;
• copy, resell or scrape the app or its content.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Coaching

Coach chat, check-ins and sessions are offered on a best-effort basis; replies aren't instant. Coaches can see the information described in our privacy policy so they can support you.

Your content

You own what you log and upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you (including sharing it with your coach, and with shopping friends where you choose).

Availability and changes

We work to keep Paraklet available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may update features or these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use Paraklet means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates or guidance in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Ending your account

You can stop using Paraklet at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing tennyboluwatife@gmail.com. See the privacy policy for how your data is handled.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
